In April, Starr Water Treatment Systems utilized the WTS2000 to clean an installed stormwater manufactured treatment device at Monmouth University Parking Lot #25.  The purpose of this was to demonstrate Starr Water Treatment System’s ability to effectively maintain other stormwater management devices. Rutgers University School of Engineering, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering was present during the cleanout and conducted independent testing of the WTS2000. Aqualete Industries tested for the reduction of total suspended solids, turbidity, hydrocarbons, and nutrients including phosphates, sulfates, nitrates, and nitrites.  Additionally, we demonstrated the step-by-step process through which the WTS2000 can be considered a feasible part of the stormwater treatment process.
